Surging Kings stun Hurricanes in lopsided 7-2 defeat

Andrei Kuzmenko, Anze Kopitar, Tanner Jeannot, Quinton Byfield and Kevin Fiala each had a goal and an assist to help the Los Angeles Kings snap the visiting Carolina Hurricanes’ eight-game win streak in a 7-2 victory on Saturday afternoon.Adrian Kempe and Trevor Moore also scored, Drew Doughty had two assists and David Rittich made 34 saves for the Kings (38-21-9, 85 points), who have won seven of eight.For the second time in franchise history, all 12 forwards had at least one point for Los Angeles.
