California communities are scrambling to figure out what an executive order means for them.  The governor wants state agencies to clear homeless encampments.  Guidelines include giving people a two days notice and storing property for at least two months.

The order doesn’t require cities and counties take the same action but recommends they do.  Leaders in Los Angeles County say they’ve been providing shelter in hotels, Sacramento is taking a similar approach and San Francisco’s mayor plans to begin next month.
