Animal rescues on the central coast are helping animal shelters in the Los Angeles area as wildfires burn in Southern California. It’s part of a statewide effort to help ease overcrowding at shelters in the fire zones. The dogs and cats brought from Southern California were already up for adoption before the blazes broke out.
