A Marine Corps veteran says she was humiliated after getting kicked off of a Delta airlines flight because of a t-shirt she was wearing. Catherine Banks was planning to fly out of San Francisco Wednesday to visit her sister when a flight attendant told her her shirt was threatening. The shirt read, “Do not give in to the war within. End veteran suicide.” Banks said she had to take off the shirt and put on a sweatshirt. Eventually she was let back onto the plane, which was delayed, causing her to miss her connecting flight. Delta has not yet responded.
