Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a new lawsuit tied to a 2018 alleged sexual assault in Contra Costa County. According to the victim’s claims, the assault was an act of revenge for her comments during a video call, in which she suggested Combs had a role in the murder of Tupac Shakur.

The lawsuit alleges that after the call, a mutual acquaintance invited the victim to his Orinda home, where Combs arrived, threatening her before the alleged assault. The victim reported the incident to local authorities, but claims she has been denied access to police reports without a subpoena.

The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office stated that the claims were found to be unfounded following an investigation. Combs’s legal team has yet to comment on the allegations.

Legal analyst Steven Clark emphasized the importance of transparency in resolving the growing number of lawsuits involving Combs, starting with a review of the initial investigation.
