San Francisco cops are closer to having new rules for car chases. That’s what voters passed with Proposition E in March and last night, the Police Commission met to review it. They talked about seven amended policies such as only pursuing a suspect accused of a felony or violent misdemeanor and letting officers use drones. If approved, the changes will be sent to the union for review, with a final decision due by October.
