San Francisco Mayor London Breed is thanking voters for passing Prop E. She took to social media last night, saying it will make the city safer for all.
The measure expands crime-fighting powers for police, such as the use of drones and surveillance cameras. It will also allow officers to pursue more suspects in vehicles.
But voters were not on board with Prop B, saying no to imposing a tax to fund full police staffing and recruitment for five to ten years.
