The man accused of shooting two Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies in Compton has been found guilty. On Thursday, the 39-year-old suspect was found guilty on ten counts, including two counts of attempted murder of a peace officer. The man ambushed two deputies as they were sitting in their patrol vehicle outside of the Compton Metro station in September of 2020. Sentencing is scheduled for October 16th. The man faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
