(Nashville, TN) — A lot of prominent Republicans are getting together this weekend in Nashville to mingle with people known for giving a lot of money to GOP candidates. The Republican National Committee’s donor retreat is an opportunity to connect with big donors early in the 2024 primary cycle. Former President Donald Trump, who launched his campaign last November, will be there. So will former Vice President Mike Pence, who’s expected to formally become a candidate sometime this year. New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu will be there as well. Sununu hasn’t said he will run for the GOP nomination, but he also hasn’t said he won’t.
Other high-profile Republicans at the retreat will include Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, Florida Senator Rick Scott, and Montana Senator Steve Daines, who chairs the Republican National Senatorial Committee.
