(Huntington Beach, CA) — Huntington Beach says the city is following some state housing laws, and looking at others, after a lawsuit from the California Attorney General. The state is accusing Huntington Beach of not allowing accessory dwelling permits and not allowing for up to four units to be built on single-use properties under Senate Bill 9. The city says they are allowing ADU permits, and will evaluate SB9 during a City Council meeting on the 21st.
