(San Francisco, CA) — Senator Dianne Feinstein is being treated at a Bay Area hospital for shingles. NBC Bay Area says she is expected to make a full recovery. In a statement, her office says she was diagnosed over the February recess and has been receiving treatment in San Francisco. Feinstein hopes to return to the Senate later this month. She announced in February she would not seek reelection in 2024.
