Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was shot and killed when Baldwin fired a prop gun loaded with a real bullet.  Baldwin has always maintained his innocence. Here’s what he told police after the shooting:

“I take the gun out slowly. I cock the pistol – bang – she hits the ground – she goes down” (Hear it below)

Baldwin says he merely pulled the hammer back and the gun somehow went off. The F-B-I says however – the gun could not have fired unless the trigger was pulled. Baldwin’s attorney says his client had no reason to think there was a live round in the prop gun. Armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed is also facing the same charges as Baldwin. Asst. Director Dave Halls had signed a plea deal – pleading guilty to negligent use of a deadly weapon. With a gun enhancement on one of the charges – the punishment could be up to five years in prison.
