Dentist Talks Halloween Candy, Impact On Teeth

By

(San Antonio, TX) — Halloween is coming up on Monday and that means huge sacks of sweets. Dentists says no candy is good for your teeth, but some are worse than others. Micaela Gibbs is the chief dental officer at U-T Health San Antonio and says the best candies are the ones that don’t stay in your mouth for very long. One example are chocolate bars, which are chewed and swallowed. She says gooey caramel and suckers are the worst because they keep the sugar in the mouth longer.
