Pop Star To Appear At RWR Library

(Simi Valley, CA) — The Kid in The White Buck Shoes is coming to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley. Pat Boone will be at the library Sunday, September 11th to promote his latest book titled “If — The Eternal Choice We All Make.” The book details how God chose Boone to make movies and hit records and helping him meet and marry his late wife Shirley. He also shares the lessons he learned along the way. Patrick Charles Eugene Boone sold over 45 million records during his career and collected 38 Top 40 hits. His best known songs include “Love Letters in the Sand,” “April Love” and “Wonderful Time Up There.” Boone is also credited for making Rock and Roll acceptable to white audiences thanks to his so-called “vanilla covers” of Fats Domino’s “Ain’t That a Shame” and Little Richard’s “Tutti Frutti.”
