Interstellar Meteor Confirmed By U.S. Military

(Papua New Guinea) — An out-of-this-world event is being confirmed by the U.S. Military. The United States Space Command says an interstellar meteor landed on earth just over eight years ago. An interstellar meteor originates from outside our solar system, which makes it a rare occurrence. The space rock crashed into Earth on January 8th, 2014 along the northeast coast of Papua New Guinea. A then-undergraduate student at Harvard University first identified the meteor back in 2019.
