(New York, NY) — Stocks are finishing on a positive after two poor days in a row. It’s been a crazy ride for Wall Street over the last few sessions. It started with a more than 900 point drop by the Dow on Black Friday amid concerns about the new Omicron coronavirus variant. However, investors were in a buying mood today and sent stocks soaring. At the closing bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 618 points to 34-640. The S&P 500 added 64 points to 45-77. The Nasdaq finished with a gain of 127 points to 15-381.
