(Washington, DC) — Former President Trump is cheering the announcement that Congressman Adam Kinzinger — who is remembered for crying on the House floor–will not seek re-election, in a district he is likely to lose or even be redistricted. The Illinois Republican is a harsh critic of the former President. Trump put out a statement saying, “Two down, eight to go!” That’s a reference to the ten House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump after the January 6th attack on the Capitol. Ohio Republican Anthony Gonzalez previously announced he won’t seek re-election.
