It’s What You Know: Poll say Facebook, Twitter Do More Harm Than Good

(Hamden, CT) — A new poll shows Americans believe Facebook and Twitter do more harm than good. In fact, 70-percent responded that way when asked in a survey done by Quinnipiac University. Only 20-percent believe the social media giants do more good than harm. Those who were surveyed also don’t like how Facebook has handled misinformation. Fifty-two percent give Facebook a poor rating in that area, while only 12-percent say they’re doing a good job.
