Heat turned up for Mark Ridley-Thomas

By

/

The political future for Mark Ridley-Thomas is basically on Wednesday’s agenda. That’s when the LA City Council will vote on whether to suspend the councilman from office. The veteran politician was indicted last week on federal bribery and conspiracy charges connected to his time on the LA county Board of Supervisors. He maintains his innocence and is expected to plead not guilty in court Wednesday. A former USC dean also facing charges in that case also insists she’s not guilty.
