Reality Check: You Check Your Phone 96 Times A Day. 96 Times A Day.

(Undated) — Americans check their smartphones an average of 96 times a day, once every ten minutes. The data put together by tech care company Asurion found that’s a 20 percent increase from just two years ago. Still, they found that half of Americans are making an effort to use their phones less. People ages 18 to 24 check their phones twice as often as the average, but even baby boomers are seven times more likely to text instead of talking with someone in person.
