Milley quite the chatterbox; Spoke to several authors writing books on Trump

(Washington, DC) — A top U.S. military officer is revealing he spoke to several authors writing books on the Trump presidency. Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley told a Senate hearing those authors included Bob Woodward for his book “Peril,” where Milley said he talked to the Chinese to “de-escalate” their concerns that the former President might launch an attack. He described the phone calls with a foreign counterpart as “routine.” As for if he’s “accurately represented” in the books, Milley said he hasn’t read them so he wouldn’t know.
