CA Considers Vaccine Mandate For Public School Kids

(Sacramento, CA) — California Public Health officials are considering a vaccine mandate for all public school children, ages 12 and older. The San Francisco Chronicle says the vaccine would be a requirement to attend in-person classes. Health and Human Services Secretary Doctor Mark Ghaly says no definitive action has been taken, but it is something being considered. Doctor Ghaly added that the state has always required public school kids to get regular vaccinations. Reports say the final decision may hinge on the vaccines receiving full federal approval for kids and young teens.
