(Undated) — The nation is preparing to collectively mark a grim milestone. On Saturday, President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will visit all three sites that came under attack on September 11th, 2001. Former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama will also attend commemoration ceremonies on the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Bush will deliver keynote remarks at the Flight 93 National Memorial at Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama will attend a remembrance ceremony at Ground Zero in New York City. A spokeswoman for former President Jimmy Carter says the 96-year-old Carter and his wife Rosalynn “will honor the memory of the fallen with prayer and reflection privately” at their home in Georgia.

Former President Bill Clinton’s staff didn’t respond to a request for comment, nor did former President Donald Trump’s staff. Trump is scheduled to do commentary Saturday night during a telecast of an exhibition boxing match between former heavyweight champ Evander Holyfield and former UFC light heavyweight champ Vitor Belfort.
