(Washington, DC) — Complaints about airlines are spiking almost 18-percent in June from a month earlier. This comes as the Department of Transportation says both flight cancellations and other disruptions rose. In June, the DOT received nearly four-thousand-200 complaints about airline service. Over half of those complaining wanted a refund. It did receive one compliment, but didn’t specify the flight or the airline.
