(Washington, DC) — Restrictions on non-essential travel between the U.S., Mexico, and Canada are being extended. The Department of Homeland Security says they’ll remain in place through September 21st. DHS tweeted the move was made “to minimize the spread of COVID-19, including the Delta variant.” That means the restrictions will have been in place for about a year and a half since the pandemic hit all three nations last year.
