(Los Angeles, CA) — A Los Angeles judge is denying a woman’s request for a five-year extension of a temporary restraining order against a Major League Baseball player. The 27-year-old woman obtained the order against Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer in June. She says he physically attacked her during two otherwise consensual sexual encounters. The San Diego woman says Bauer punched her in the face and choked her until she was unconscious. Bauer denies the allegations. He is currently suspended from professional baseball. The Washington Post reports a second woman made similar allegations against Bauer a few years ago in Ohio. He recently tweeted a denial of those allegations, but remained quiet in the LA courtroom this week.
