(Miami, FL) — Royal Caribbean will force unvaccinated passengers over 12-years-old to purchase travel insurance for medical costs if they contract COVID-19. The company says unvaccinated travelers leaving from Florida must have at least $75,000 worth of insurance for quarantine and medical evacuation costs. The insurance is mandated for voyages that leave from the Sunshine State from August 1st to December 31st. The policy won’t apply to people who bought their cruises between March 19th and now.
