CA SoCal Unemployment-Twice As Bad As Last Year

(Los Angeles, CA) — The seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate for Los Angeles County stands at eleven-point-five percent for February. However, a year before, LA’s unemployment figure was only five-percent. The state Employment Development Department says Orange County just posted a six-point-eight percent unemployment figure for February. A month before, it was seven-point-four percent. The unemployment rate for LA county improved by about a point over January.
