(Thailand) — Dogs in Thailand can detect people who have coronavirus with 95-percent accuracy. Head of the training program at a Thai university Professor Kaywalee Chatdarong said the Labrador retrievers are trained to sniff out the virus in human sweat. The dogs can even detect people who are COVID positive, but asymptomatic. Chatdarong says the Labs can go through 60 samples in 60 seconds and they will eventually be used at airports and in other public spaces to sniff out those who are sick with the virus.
