Stafford Headed To Rams For Goff, Picks

(Los Angeles, CA) — The Rams are landing a new quarterback while trading their old one. Los Angeles is bringing in Matthew Stafford from the Lions and sending Jared Goff and picks back to Detroit. ESPN reports the two teams are exchanging the former number-one overall picks, with two future first round picks and a third rounder heading back to the Motor City. Stafford, the 2009 top overall pick, has thrown for 45-thousand yards in his career. Goff, the 2016 number one pick, led the Rams to the Super Bowl in 2019. Both players are equal salary cap hits next season.
