(Oakland, CA) — California’s Oakland International is the first airport to feature vending machines that conveniently dispense COVID-19 test kits. Folks who must travel can now purchase a COVID test for 130- to 150-dollars and they can be reimbursed by health insurance providers. They can then use FedEx to ship saliva samples to the lab. In less than 24-hours, test results will arrive via a phone app. The vending machines are in both of Oakland’s terminals.
