(Washington, DC) — Non-U.S. citizens will no longer be able to travel to the U.S. from South Africa. President Biden will add South Africa to coronavirus travel restrictions this week. That’s because a new strain of the virus is circulating in the country and health officials worry vaccines may not work against it. The President is also planning to reverse former President Trump’s attempt to rescind restrictions on travel from Europe, the U.K. and Brazil.
