Some good news: Cat That Went Missing During Mudslides Is Reunited With Owner

(Undated) — A cat that went missing in Southern California three years ago is now back home. Norm Borgatello is the owner of Patches, who went missing during the Montecito mudslides of 2018. The feline was thought to be dead, but was recently found alive and dropped off at the Animal Shelter Assistance Program in Santa Barbara. Thanks to a microchip in Patches, the ASAP was able reunite her with Borgatello safe and sound. The shelter shared the moment on Instagram.
