(Irvine, CA) – The Silverado Fire burning in Southern California is now up to 72-hundred acres. Two firefighters are hospitalized in critical condition. They have second and third-degree burns over at least 50-percent of their bodies. Sixty-thousand people have evacuated in Irvine. A second fire a few miles away in the Yorba Linda area has grown to 11-hundred acres. The so-called Blue Canyon Fire has burned down at least one home and many more are threatened.
