Los Angeles prosecutors are charging Stanley Lawton and his daughter Shaniya with kidnapping, rape, robbery and attempted murder. They’re accused of kidnapping a woman at gunpoint in Las Vegas back in October. Investigators believe they knew the victim and brought her to Southern California before dumping her in the high desert. She was found disoriented near Edwards Air Force Base. A motive has not been revealed. Both suspects are being held on bail.
