The Tijuana River runs from Mexico into San Diego and out to the Pacific Ocean. Heavy rainfall this week has pushed dangerous levels of sewage into U.S. waters. It’s a common problem for the southern edge of San Diego County. Beach closure signs will likely remain in place for several more days.
