Susan Wagner went for a night time stroll Monday at a popular park in Riverside, when she says a man she didn’t know started beating her. The 60-year old went into cardiac arrest on the way to the hospital and remains in serious condition. Doctors say she suffered a fractured skull, neck and ribs as well as bleeding in her brain. Police say they are investigating the attack as an attempted murder, and it’s unclear if the attacker is homeless living in the park.
