The four-year-old girl was struck by a car just before 8 a.m. Sergeant Danny Eun of the LAPD traffic division says the girl was crossing the street at Normandie and Olympic on her way to school. That’s when a mother with a car full of kids made a left turn.
”And, unfortunately, collided with the mother and the four-year-old child crossing the street northbound on the eastside crosswalk.”
The girl died at the hospital. Her mother was transported, but is expected to survive. The driver is cooperating with police.
