The kids at Rogers Middle School reported feeling ill and smelling a foul odor Tuesday morning. Paramedics and a hazardous materials team responded just before lunchtime. Two children were treated for vomiting while about a dozen others were examined after complaining of nausea or wheezing. The Los Angeles County Fire Department suspects a fertilizer is to blame.
