The Orange County Register reports Ryan Huff was pronounced dead after being pulled from the water off Laguna Beach. The 40-year-old was free diving, meaning he did not have breathing equipment. Investigators believe his fishing gear was caught up in some rocks which prevented him from going up for air. The incident happened September twenty-eighth, but it’s just now being reported.
