Patriotism is cool, according to Paul Stanley, guitarist of the legendary and iconic rock band KISS.
Stanley dropped by our sister station KLOS to chat with Marci Wiser and he says he’s grateful he lives in the greatest country on earth.
“It has some problems and always has, but we get the freedom to fix those things. And, we have a military that’s unbelievable. The military protects this country. They keep these shores safe. These people go overseas of their own accord and volunteer to go in harms way. Unfortunately, when they come back they don’t always get what they deserve.”.
Stanley goes on to say he’s a product of the American dream.
Loving your country is cool. It doesn’t mean it’s perfect, but in this country you have a voice to change things. There are people who have things to say about this country that aren’t complimentary, but we come to everyone’s aid, and if it wasn’t for us, they’d be speaking German in France. This is a great country and we should all stand up and be proud of it.”
