LAX officials today are pondering whether to allow the ride share service Uber to pick up passengers at the airport. If LAX officials decide today, Uber could be allowed to start picking up passengers. This would make LAX the largest airport in the country to allow pick-ups. But not everyone is anxious for Uber. Taxi driver Alfred Abassian Fox 11 News cabs are held to a higher standard. John Wayne Airport in Orange County started allowing Uber and Lyft to pick up rides in March.
