Alameda County has a new district attorney. The county Board of Supervisors on Tuesday announced Superior Court Judge Ursula Jones Dickson has been selected as the county’s new D.A. Dickson will likely be sworn in next week to succeed interim District Attorney Royl Roberts, who had taken over for ousted District Attorney Pamela Price when Price was recalled two months ago. Dickson says she plans to work to make sure her office never becomes a political pawn.
