About 88-thousand Los Angeles County residents remain under mandatory evacuation orders due to the Palisades and Eaton fires. Close to another 85-thousand residents are still under evacuation warnings. Some residents of unincorporated Altadena were allowed to return home on Tuesday, a week after getting evacuated due to the Eaton Fire. The two fires, combined with several smaller fires that have started since last week, have burned nearly 39-thousand acres of land in L.A. County.
