Parts of Los Angeles and Ventura counties are facing another so-called “particularly dangerous situation” Red Flag Warning due to another round of Santa Ana Winds.  The National Weather Service issued that same extreme designation last Tuesday.  That was right before the deadly Palisades and Eaton fires started.  This is the highest-level wind alert the National Weather Service is capable of issuing.  It’s typically issued just before hurricanes or tornadoes.  A few wind gusts are hitting 70-miles-per-hour.  Relative humidity is as low as eight percent.  The warning applies to most of Ventura County, the San Fernando and San Gabriel valleys, and the I-5 Corridor in northern L.A. County.  It will remain in place through Wednesday at 12 noon.
