GOPers Want to Crack Down on Liberal Big Cities

Congressional Republicans are lining up their priorities for when President-elect Trump’s returns to office. One priority is to address current state policies they see as a magnet for illegal immigration.
That’s California Congressman Tom McClintock, who is part of the Border Security Caucus. They want the incoming U.S. Attorney General to file federal Obstruction of Justice charges against the leaders of any sanctuary city. In California, that includes a number of places. Most recently, Los Angeles City Council passed a sanctuary ordinance, and the San Diego Board of Supervisors voted in favor of a so-called “super sanctuary” status.
