Changes could be coming regarding parking in some San Francisco neighborhoods. SF MTA officials are considering converting two-hour parking areas in the Marina, Cow Hollow and Union Street Corridor to “pay or permit” parking. That means parking will still be free for residents who have permits, but visitors would have to pay to park their car.
People who work in those areas are upset that they’ll likely have to move their cars all the time to avoid getting tickets. SFMTA officials plan to hold a community meeting about the proposal this evening at 5 p.m. at the Moscone Recreation Center.
