Residents of an apartment complex are not happy with their landlord or the company that makes the security robots that patrol the parking lot. The autonomous robots were deployed as a way to stop catalytic converter thefts. But tenants at the Clairemont, California apartment building say the robots routinely bump into parked cars, tell people to move after bumping into their cars, and park themselves behind cars so tenants cannot back out. The robots were designed to deter crime, but tenants say the robots are making life very difficult.
