Trump Transition Team Hints at RFK Role As “Health Czar”

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s role in the Trump administration has people in the healthcare space questioning what is next. It’s unclear what his role within the Trump administration will be, but White House transition officials have pointed to a “health czar” position that would not need Senate confirmation.

Top governance roles, like FDA commissioner, require Senate confirmation, some experts say this could be a hurdle for Kennedy. Kennedy warned on X last week that, quote: “FDA’s war on public health is about to end.” Kennedy accused the agency of its “aggressive suppression of psychedelics, peptides, stem cells, ivermectin, vitamins, clean foods, sunshine, exercise and anything else that advances human health and can’t be patented by Pharma.”
