Republicans won control of the Senate amid a slew of victories by allies of Donald Trump, giving the GOP powerful leverage in high-stakes tax and spending battles next year.
Among the big winners is Ohio Republican Bernie Moreno over Democratic incumbent Sherrod Brown. CNN is projecting that Republican Tim Sheehy will defeat incumbent Senator Jon Tester in the Montana race.
